John
4:23-25
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will
worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking
such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him
must worship in spirit and truth."
2Ch 5:13-14 The choir and
trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to GOD-- orchestra and
choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to GOD: Yes! God
is good! His loyal love goes on forever! Then a billowing cloud
filled The Temple of GOD. The
priests couldn't even carry out their duties because of the cloud
--the glory of GOD!-- that filled The Temple of God.
PS 9:1 O Lord,
I will praise you with all my heart and tell everyone about the
marvelous things you do. I will be glad, yes, filled with joy
because of you. I will sing your praises, O Lord God above all gods.
PS 150:5
Hallelujah! Yes, praise the Lord! Praise him in his Temple and
in the heavens he made with mighty power. Praise him for his mighty
works. Praise his unequaled greatness. Praise him with the
trumpet and with lute and harp. Praise him with the drums and
dancing. Praise him with stringed instruments and horns.
Praise him with the cymbals, yes, loud clanging cymbals. Let
everything alive give praises to the Lord! You praise him!
Hallelujah!
Ps 146:1-2
Praise the Lord! Yes, really praise him! I will praise him as
long as I live, yes, even with my dying breath.
Ps 98:1-2
Sing a new song to the Lord telling about his mighty deeds! For he
has won a mighty victory by his power and holiness.
Ps 33:1-3
Let all the joys of the godly well up in praise to the Lord, for it
is right to praise him. Play joyous melodies of praise upon
the lyre and on the harp. Compose new songs of praise to him,
accompanied skillfully on the harp; sing joyfully. |
Our
heart is to disciple, impart and release the body of Christ
into full expression of worship. We are excited to
have generations on our worship team. We have members
from young teens to adult. In our house we offer
freedom of expression in the dance, flags, ribbon dancers,
drawing and banners. We endeavor to move with the Holy Spirit
and allow Him to lead our worship. As we move into the
flow of the spirit there comes the release of the prophetic
song, the new song, in instrument and voice. Join us
and enter into His presence.
Worship,
Intercession and the Prophetic are connected. You
can't have one without the other. Living a lifestyle
of worship is what Christ called us to when He said; "The
hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will
worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is
seeking such to worship Him."
As a people we tend to think that worship is only when we
gather in church with the worship team or choir and sing
psalms and hymns, or at home with a favorite CD. Music
is only one expression of worship. Creative expression
of worship to the Lord is limitless. Even in doing our
daily chores we can worship in the deepest of ways.
Keep Him before us, and in all we do emulate Christ.
We cannot separate ourselves from the Lord as we go about
our daily business, He must be in all things.
We are called to love
one another, we are measured by that. Worship is an
expression of love, we worship Him by how we love and treat
others. In that we are
all called to worship, we all must give Him all that we are
and all that we have. When coming into a corporate
worship setting within the church it is important for each
of us to take that step into the Throne Room. The
worship team is only a vehicle, you have the keys and can
either enter into His presence or remain sitting in the
church, you can either just sing a song or enter into the
place that he beckons us to. Remember, it's all about
Jesus, not how you feel or what's going on around you.
Worship, like love isn't always a feeling, but is always a
decision. He offers refreshing, healing, restoration, love, joy and
a multitude of things that are right before us. Taste
and see that the Lord is good and His loving kindness lasts
forever.
